Coffee County Central High School Varsity Cheerleaders
The Raider Cheerleaders have shown much spirit throughout this 2007-2008 school year. Not only that, but the pep rallys are extremely exciting. From class spirit competitions, to games that all four classes participate in, the pep rallys have become something everyone looks forward to.
Accomplishments
Not only are they spirited and role models of the school, but they have competed in competitions as well. They went and competed in Gatlinburg on December 16, 2006. They competed in the Large Varsity Co-ed division and won 1st place. Along with this, they were Cheer Camp Champs at UCA Camp in the 2006-2007 school year.
Every year at the UCA Camps, squads compete for the all-around best spirit award a.k.a. "The Banana." This year Coffee County brought home the banana, B-A-N-A-N-A!!
Seniors
Valerie Binion: She has cheered for Coffee County for the past 4 years. She has cheered for football all four years and basketball for three. She is also a flyer. Valerie loves to hang out with her friends.
Chelsea Banks: She has cheered for Coffee County for the past three years. She has cheered for both footbball and basketball. She is the Co-Captain for the basketball squad. She is also a back spot. Chelsea is also a member of the track team. She also enjoys playing softball.
Emily Dutton: She has cheered at CHS for four years. She has cheered for football and basketball all four years. She is the Co-Captain for the football squad this year. She is also a base. Emily also enjoys playing softball, clogging, and being in pageants. She is also a very active member of FBLA and the Leo Club.
Lauren Hunter: She has cheered at CHS for four years. She has cheered for both basketball and football all four years. She is the Captain of both the Football and Basketball squads. She is also a base. Lauren is also the Vice President of the Spanish Club and a member of the Leo Club, Beta Club, National Honor Society, she is currently serving as Secretary of Student Council. She also enjoys being in pageants, playing softball and is a member of Dance Unlimited.
Chelsey Price: She has cheered at CHS for four years. She has cheered for football all four years and basketball for three. She is also a base. Chelsey was named Outstanding Senior and voted Homecoming Queen by the student body. She is also the Senior class Treasurer and the Leo Club President.
Juniors
Samantha Adams: Samantha has cheered for three years at CHS. She has cheered football for three years and basketball for two. She is also a flyer. Samantha also enjoys singing and is a member of the track team.
Hayley Clark: She has cheered for three years for the Raiders at CHS. She has cheered football for three years and basketball for two. She is also a base. Hayley also loves playing softball.
Holly Hatchett: She has cheered for three years at CHS. She cheered football for three years and basketball for two. She is also a back spot. Holly is also very active in HOSA serving as Historian, and also FTA which she is also serving as Historian.
Ashley Henley: She has cheered for three years for the Raiders. She has cheered for both football and basketball all three years. She is also a flyer. Ashley is also very active in FBLA serving as Webmaster and is currently the Region 6 Tennessee President. She has also served on Student Council for the past three years and currently is the Treasurer/Historian.
Lela Ivins: This is her first year cheering for CCHS. She cheered one year for football. Lela has also been a twirler for 8 years. She is also a member of the Beta Club, Key Club, Inklings, Spanish Club and FBLA.
Laura Johnson: She has cheered for three years for the Raiders. She has cheered for both football and basketball all three years. She is also a back spot. Laura is also very active in HOSA which she is the Junior Vice President of. She is also a member of FTA and a representative of Student Council.
Kasidy Lowe: She has cheered three years for Coffee County. She has cheered for football and basketball all three years. She is also a flyer.
Amanda Nauman: This is her first year cheering for Coffee County High School. She cheered one year of football. She is also a base.
Jacqueline Petersen: She has cheered for Coffee County for two years. She has cheered both football and basketball for both years. She is also a base. Jacqueline is also a member of the Elite Competition Squad in Murfreesboro. She also enjoys playing softball.
Chelsey Pierce: This is her first year cheering for Coffee County. She cheers for both football and basketball. Chelsey enjoys gymnastics. She is also a base. Chelsey is also the Secretary of the Spanish Club.
Olivia Reynolds: She has cheered for three years at CHS. She cheers both football and basketball. She is also a base Olivia is also the treasurer of HOSA and loves playing powderpuff football.
Sophomores
Brianna Eldridge: Brianna has cheered two years at CHS. She has cheered football for two years and one year of basketball. She is also a back spot. Brianna is also in the spanish club and a member of the CHS choir. She is also on the swim team and is a representative for Student Council.
Savannah Hood: This is her first year cheering for the Raiders at CHS. She cheers for both football and basketball. Savannah is also a member of the spanish club and on the track team.
Molly Parker: This is her first year cheering for Coffee County. She cheers for both football and basketball.
